If so, we invite you to be the new Junior or Senior Educational Program Manager of BGC’s Native English Educational Programs!

    About Us:

    BGC Hungary is the European Partner Organization of the World Federation of Youth and the Boys and Girls Club of America which provides a modernized daycare system in nearly 4,000 clubs in the United States, where the primary goal is to develop children’s skills and personalities through activity-oriented projects. As its sister organization, BGC Hungary currently operates in 8 different public educational institutions (schools and preschools) in Budapest with the mission of supporting our student body of 900+ in their English language acquisition. BGC’s specialized, innovative, and fun curriculum is delivered by our faculty of around 40 native speaker teachers coming from all around the world, mostly from the United States.

    Our schools and preschools are warm, inclusive, and very innovative communities in the 13th district of Budapest where children explore, learn, and grow. We believe in spontaneous learning processes and in fostering effective, joyful communication, curiosity, and an intercultural mindset in English language acquisition.

    As our Educational Program Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of some of our bilingual educational programs and in the language acquisition and the social and intercultural skill-development of the young generation.


    Responsibilities:

    • Guidance and Support: As the Educational Program Manager, you’ll provide operational guidance to the international teachers of your team. Your professional guidance and support will help and inspire teachers, parents, and students alike.
    • Curriculum Development: Collaborate with our teaching team to design an engaging and developmentally appropriate curriculum.
      Staff Mentoring: Support, monitor and mentor teachers, helping them reach their full potential. Encourage professional growth through coworking time, workshops, class-observations and training under the supervision and with the guidance of the Director of Education.
    • Community Engagement: Build relationships with parents and school and preschool communities. Organize and facilitate parent meetings, BGC events, workshops. Provide content to the marketing team of BGC.
    • Process Management and Supply: Develop, continuously revise, and execute school and preschool processes to assure the smooth running of the BGC preschool program. Manage the dedicated BGC program’s resources efficiently within the allocated budget.
    • Cooperation: Continually cooperate and build relationships with the Hungarian teachers and management. Foster cooperation between international and Hungarian preschool or school teachers.


    Qualifications:

    • Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Education, or Early Childhood Education or a related field.
    • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience is required. Experience in a leadership or coordination role is highly appreciated. Intercultural experience (work or studies in different countries) is considered a strong asset.
