Judit Szikora
Senior Afterschool Program Manager - Dunakeszi, FótAnd in the end, everything comes together to create an image…
(loosely after András Lovasi)Somehow my whole life has revolved around teaching English. Throughout the years, I strayed into the world of media on multiple occasions, but life has always brought me back to education. These experiences were never in vain; they helped me in my next job. Being in the drama-specialist class of Szentes school and the Hungarian-cultural organizer and English-language diploma have all proved to be useful and have become an integral part of me. This job sums up all my previously gained knowledge encompassing the skills of language teaching, communication, event organization and team management. In this team, I have found a home.
I find education enjoyable on every level, in every age group and in every form. This is because there is nothing better than passing knowledge on, thus making the other person richer and giving them a new language tool which they can use to brighten their future. And if all of this happens unnoticed, without breaking a sweat, in a cheerful and playful manner, then what could be better for a child?
This program offers a variety of ways to experience language. It adjusts to both today’s fast-paced lifestyle and also the students’ individual requirements. The rhythm of language acquisition is not dictated by the ringing of bells, tests and demands, but it is experienced by living in the moment and being actively present.
It becomes a part of one unnoticeably and sensitively, only to be discovered years later, but then with a sense of certainty and stability. Being part of this unnoticeable linguistic journey, working together with the parents and teachers, is an honor.
