Sophia (Phia)

Hi! My name is Sophia and I am 23 years old. I’ve wanted to work with kids ever since I was one, and I really care about forming connections with children and listening to them.

I studied philosophy in college, and enjoy incorporating it into my daily life and work. My hobbies also include crochet, writing, and studying foreign languages (mainly French and German). My experience studying foreign languages is part of the reason.

I’m excited to help kids acquire English through play and real-life situations, because I know that experience firsthand, and want to become a better teacher and learner everyday.
