Kelsey Cullen

I am a 27 year old from Cape Town, South Africa with over two years’ experience in teaching English as a foreign language to young children.

After leaving my career in finance in 2020, I spent the following years teaching Chinese and Vietnamese students of all ages to speak English. This experience awoke my passion and love for teaching, and I haven’t looked back since.
In addition to teaching English online for the past two years, I have a wide range of experience working with children.

This includes babysitting, working at church camps and Sunday school, teaching guitar to young students and working as a counsellor and performing arts instructor at a summer camp in the USA. My love for music and the performing arts coupled with my big personality means that I always aim to facilitate fun while learning. I know that each student learns and grows differently and therefore I always ensure that I form a personal bond with each individual pupil in order to deliver the best learning environment possible for my students.

I have already fallen in love with Budapest and because I have family in Hungary I hope to be here for a long time.
I can’t wait to meet all of my new students and their families.
