Hi! My name is Nathan, and I grew up in Harrisonburg, Virginia. I stayed in Virginia to attend Virginia Tech University where I studied Finance and German. While at Virginia Tech, I also completed my TEFL certification. During my time in university, I was able to spend two summers in Germany and one semester in Switzerland.

This is when I fell in love with traveling and experiencing new cultures. After this, I knew I wanted to live abroad after graduating. During my study abroad in Switzerland, I was able to visit Budapest over spring break, and I knew this was a place that I wanted to come back to. In the past, I have taught English classes for adults.

I have also coached soccer and swim teams for children, so I am excited to combine those two things and teach English to children. I am so excited to meet all the children and have a great year with BGC!
