“My name is Antoiné, better known as Anne, and I’m thrilled to be an English teacher for the kindergarten and after-school programs at BGC Hungary. I am representing the vibrant city of Charlotte, North Carolina in the United States. My journey into English teaching began in September 2020 when I acquired my Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) certificate from The TEFL Academy, right after completing my Bachelor’s degree in Sociology at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

My teaching adventure kicked off as an au pair in the captivating city of Madrid, Spain, from April 2021 until October 2021. Embracing this opportunity, I experienced the joy of guiding young minds in their language development. Following that enriching experience, I continued my teaching journey as a language assistant in Madrid, from October 2021 to June 2022. It was truly rewarding to witness my students’ progress and instill a love for English in their hearts. During the summer of 2022, I sought to expand my teaching expertise and explored Italy while working as a summer camp counselor. This experience not only allowed me to embrace new cultures but also earned me a second TEFL certification from EducoItalia. Beyond the formal classroom settings, I’ve had the privilege of providing private English lessons, including Cambridge exam preparation.

When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me engaged in creative pursuits like drawing and cooking. My passion for travel has taken me to 16 countries, where I’ve cherished diverse experiences and learned to appreciate the beauty of different cultures.

In my approach to teaching, I take great pride in creating an interactive and safe environment that fosters growth and curiosity among my students. Guided by my belief that “everything happens for a reason,” I’m excited to be part of this family of English development leaders. I am certain that my journey has led me here for a greater purpose, and I’m committed to making a positive impact on my students’ lives. Together, we’ll explore the wonders of language and learning, as I inspire them to reach new heights in their education and beyond.”
