Maisy Wildermuth

From the time I was old enough to stay home alone, I began to babysit and take care of the younger kids in my community. As I continued through my schooling years, I realized that leading games, exploring with imagination, and fostering a love of books were passions I wanted to share with the kids I worked with because my nannies, teachers, and counselors had done so with me before. Their presence in my life left such a fond and lasting impression, and I wanted to be that positive figure for the children in my community.

Throughout my primary, secondary, and university years, I worked as a tutor and nanny. I also spent thirteen years as a Girl Scout, growing from a young student into a mentor to other girls in the Scouting program. These were all such valuable experiences that let me share my love of creativity and learning with kids in different environments. I am so excited to be part of the BGC Hungary team, and to have the opportunity to work with so many new students and bring my love of reading, writing, and artistic expression to this setting. I can’t wait for everything we’ll learn together this year!
